Calling all Grandparents!

Do you wish you could be closer to your grandchildren? Do you want to be more intentional in passing on biblical values?

Here’s a great idea grandparents are using to foster stronger ties with their grandkids while also inspiring and equipping them with valuable life skills.

Most of us plan to pass on an inheritance to our children and grandchildren. But why wait until we’re gone? Let's give some away now so we can have fun watching them invest in their future. Whether your grandchildren live next door or 1,000 miles away, this special project will be a blessing to you and them.

And if your grandchildren understand that everything you own belongs to God and that you’re merely the caretaker, there’s a better chance they will enthusiastically embrace your offer, as their focus will be doing things for an Audience of One!

Give away part of your inheritance NOW!
Decide how much you feel comfortable spending on all grandchildren combined. Perhaps $1,000 per month. Set hourly rate per child, taking into consideration the needs and age of each child. Perhaps $20 to $30 per hour per child.

Tell your grandchildren that you love them and want to help them access some of their inheritance early by giving them opportunities to earn funds earmarked for debt reduction, education, medical expenses, starting a business or investments.

Then give your grandchildren a list of activities you feel are important... uplifting educational movies and videos, great books, volunteering, or taking classes to improve skills. Your grandchildren can also offer suggestions, but they must gain your approval. Grandchildren then track hours. Click LINK for suggestions.

Once a month, your grandchildren are to send you a written report or video that describes activities completed, time spent, and life lessons learned. Funds can be transferred via Zelle or Paypal.

This is a beautiful win-win as our grandchildren learn to budget and earn, interact with Grandma and Grandpa, talk about interesting things that are happening in their lives and share lessons learned.
